Antique: Late Georgian/Early Victorian Amethyst Brooch
The rich yellow of this high carat, foliate surround beautifully contrasts with this vivid and bright purple Amethyst.
This oval cut amethyst is collet set with a hand-carved border of leaves, flowers, and scallop shells.
The style, setting, and findings indicate that it is either late Georgian or early Victorian. Currently a brooch, but it would make a stunning pendant. Consider pairing it with an Albert Watch Chain in yellow gold.
