This modern pearl choker is comprised of white cultured pearls ranging in size from 3 mm to 4 mm. It was hand woven by an expert with a background in the conservation of antique woven and "knitted" pearl jewels (who has done restoration projects for Christie's, among others).
The difference between this hand-woven pearl choker and others, is the understanding that a choker must be slightly tapered (almost imperceptibly) if it is to properly fit the curve of the neck. It is finished with a 14 Kt yellow gold clasp.
Looking for a modern way to wear a classic? Layer them. Find one or more pearl necklaces that you love and wear them together, vary the lengths or the diameters of the pearls. We've paired ours with a similar, but longer necklace. Pearls are incredibly versatile and can be worn with everything from a classic white Tee to a wedding gown. Consider adding metal to the mix. Wear this pearl choker layered with delicate gold chains and pearl charms.
