Antique: Large Gold Locket with Diamonds and Sapphires in 15ct Gold

Antique Victorian Sapphire & Diamond Locket, 15ct Yellow-Gold, 1.8"

This is a "WOW" locket of large proportions. It features a sparkling white old mine cut diamond in the center flanked by two cornflower blue sapphires each in square-shaped setting. The locket is a buttery 15ct yellow-gold.

What makes this so unique? While the piece is approximately over one hundred and forty years old, it has a very modern geometric design, which is timeless. The other half of the WOW maker is it size. It is extra large at almost two inches long and just under 1.5 inches wide.
