Return Process

We hope you are happy with your purchase, but if you decide to make a return please follow-the process below.

Return Timeline

Notify us within 3 Days: If you wish to return an item, please email us within 3 days of receipt of the item and include "Return" in the Subject Line of your email in order to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA).

Our goal is to help you make a safe return. We''ll provide you with information to help you pack up your return. Because of the value of the item and the delicate nature of jewelry in general, please don’t send the item back prior to receiving our helpful return guidelines.

Ship Back Within An Additional 2 Days: Upon receipt of our email, you’ll have 2 additional days to ship the item back. If using FedEx, take the item to a designated FedEx location (it cannot be dropped in an unmanned drop box).

A refund will be provided for items that are received in their original condition, packaged as either shipped or directed (we are here to help) within the time frame detailed herein.

The return instructions are simple. They guide you through how to repack the item to ensure that your item is protected, tracked, insured, and returned safely. Regardless of the carrier, we recommend that you obtain a drop-off receipt as we cannot provide a refund for an item that we do not receive.

Items Ineligible for Return 

We regret that we cannot accept a return that has not been made through the Sugar et Cie secure return guidelines process or within the required time frame. 

Additionally, we cannot accept any item for return that has been damaged or modified in any way. Rings that have been sized are not returnable. If an item has been customized (either by you or by us at your direction) or if it is a special order, it cannot be returned.

Refund Timeline

We will issue a refund within 48 hours of verification.

Please note that after we have issued a refund, the time it takes for the refund to post to your account is out of our control and dependent upon your financial institution’s processing and posting time.

Please contact your financial institution for information regarding the total number of days it may take for your funds to be returned to your account. 

Return Shipping Fees

Shipping fees are not refundable.

We will refund the shipping charges if an error has been made (e.g. you received the wrong item). We offer FedEx Ground and FedEx 2-Day shipping rates within the U.S. at a discounted flat rate, as a promotional benefit to our customers.

Return rates are not subsidized and are at the shipper's published list rates.

In the unlikely event you are unable to accept the delivery of your order and the carrier returns the item back to us, full shipping costs (actual inbound and outbound costs without subsidy) will be deducted from the total purchase price to be refunded.

Duties, Tariffs, and Taxes

Please note that all duties, taxes and associated fees are not included in the original purchase amount and must be paid by the purchaser. Therefore duties, taxes and fees cannot be refunded by us with the exception of California Sales Tax, which we do collect and will be refunded.
