However, we do not warrant that the product descriptions, price, availability, or other content on this site to be accurate, complete, or error-free. Content provided on the website is on an “as is” basis and may be updated or revised at any time.
Sugar et Cie reserves the right to make corrections at any time without prior notice. If we are unable to fulfill an order, your sole remedy is a full and prompt refund. If a product offered by Sugar et Cie is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it to us for a refund per the conditions stated in our Return Policy (in its original state, without modifications of any sort including ring sizing, without damage, etc.) within the stated return period in order to receive a refund less shipping cost. Please note Custom Orders or any other item that is stated as not returnable, is not returnable.
Due to the nature of online transactions, we may ask for additional identification. We reserve the right to cancel a sale when a purchaser's identity cannot be verified to our satisfaction or the satisfaction of a third party fraud protection service.
Refund Policy
We offer refunds for purchases made of the goods and services offered on our Website, unless stated otherwise on the product page (i.e. custom orders or modified pieces) that an item is not eligible for return.
To qualify for a refund, you must submit your request to us within three days of your purchase date by contacting us in writing (via email) and ship the product back within two days of notification. You are required to ship your purchased goods back to us to receive a refund. We will not be able to issue you a refund for goods we do not receive. Please note that we will not be able to issue you a refund for the cost of shipping and or/handling.

We strive to issue refunds within 48 hours of receiving your return and completing the verification process i.e. that the item we receive as a return is in the same condition as when it was originally shipped by Sugar et Cie. We will send you a notification when we have completed the refund process. We are not responsible for the time it takes for your financial institution to return the original payment to your account. We will only return the payment to the original payment utilized to make the purchase.
Our responsibility ends after we issue the refund. At this point, we no longer have control over the time it takes to reach your account. You can view our full Return and Refund policy here.
Cancellation
We offer cancellations on purchases made of the goods and services offered on our Website. We offer cancellations prior to shipment (i.e. if the purchase has not already shipped) without incurring a cancellation fee. You may cancel your order by contacting us. We reserve the right to cancel your purchase for any reason, at our sole discretion, including but not limited to fraud, inaccuracies, and unavailability of the items or services purchased. We will let you know immediately if we cancel your purchase. We will issue you a refund for the full purchase price that you paid.
Shipping Policy
When you purchase our goods, we use a third party (e.g. FedEx, USPS, UPS, DHL) to ship these goods to you (“Carrier” or “Carriers”). The shipping will be governed by that third party’s Terms of Service and other applicable policies. When you purchase our goods, the cost of the shipping will be calculated and presented to you during the checkout process.
While we purchase Declared Value from the Carrier we cannot be held responsible for damage or theft that occurs while the product is in the possession of a Carrier. If the outside of the box has been damaged, we require that you take a photo of the damaged box prior to opening and notify both the Carrier and Sugar et Cie. Delivery Time
Every attempt is made to deliver your purchase to you according to the estimated delivery provided by the carrier. The estimated delivery times are in business days, Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays. We use third-party carriers and estimated delivery times may change due to circumstances out of our control. We will make reasonable efforts to deliver your purchases within the estimated delivery date, but we cannot guarantee that it will be delivered in this time frame. Orders placed Friday through Sunday, will ship on Monday to avoid items sitting in a Carrier’s warehouse over the weekend. If your item has not been delivered by the estimated delivery date, please contact us.
The Nature of Vintage and Antique Jewelry
Please note that Sugar et Cie jewelry must be treated with care. Many of our pieces are over 100 years old and they require careful treatment by the wearer. Information on how some pieces of jewelry may be stored or cleaned has been provided on the Site or via a printed card enclosed in your package. We have made every attempt to ensure that the colors in the pictures displayed on the website are as accurate as possible. However, actual colors may depend upon your monitor. Many monitors are not color calibrated and may display colors somewhat differently.

Risk of Loss
All items purchased from Sugar et Cie are made pursuant to a shipment contract. This means that the risk of loss and title for the items passes to you upon signature of the receipt of delivery. If there is damage to the outside of the package that leads you to believe that the contents could be damaged, you must notify the carrier prior to signing for and accepting delivery. If you believe the contents of the package to be damaged, again, you must also notify Sugar et Cie immediately. If you decide to make a return, you will receive specific instructions on how to protect against loss: insure the package via the carrier; request signature upon delivery; pack it in the original materials provided/in the original manner; drop-off at the carrier as specified within the period of return and ask for a “Drop-off Receipt”; etc. The risk of loss will remain with you until Sugar et Cie has accepted the delivery and verified that the contents are in their original condition (the condition that each item was in at the time of original dispatch).
Purchase and Delivery to Locations Outside the US (Customs Duties, Taxes, and Fees)
Delivery charges listed on this website cover shipping charges only. If you live outside of the US, your purchase may also be subject to taxes, customs, duties, or other fees related to the location in which the product is received (“Fees”).
