Antique & Modern: Georgian Paste Buckle and Alligator Cuff Bracelet in Lagoon Blue
This is the sister buckle to the Versailles blue. It is also an antique English buckle from the Georgian period. The pastes are set in silver and the chape and tines are made of steel, as is typical of the period. This alligator cuff is in a deep and vivid lagoon blue glaze.
The oval buckle has cushion cut paste stones that have the characteristic black dot at the base of the stones. There are two flower clusters comprised of large and small rounds, one on each side. The cuff is a one-of-a-kind, custom made piece (see Dimensions & Details below for more information on dimensions and fit).
